Ceremonial cacao block (1 LB/ 16 oz)

Our heirloom criollo cacao is native to San Martin, Peru and grown by seven Quechua tribes across the Rio Mayo River Valley. It has a rich, earthy flavor with notes of citrus that are unique to the region. This cacao is grown with great care for the soil, water and diverse ecosystem.  This connection with the land and farmer allows for constantly high quality cacao that is packed with a powerhouse of nutrients and beneficial fats. 

Cacao is lightly roasted and ground to preserve its full flavor and bioavailability. 

Each harvest is tested for heavy metals and contaminants.
